Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do I need a reservation?

R:  Highly recommended. Just give us a call or send in an email request.

Q: How many people fit on each boat?

R:  10 people total. Children are counted.

Q: Is the boat easy to drive and how old do you have to be?

R:  The boat is as easy as driving a golf cart and goes 6 mph. You have to be 25 years old to drive an electric boat rental. We provide a map of lake Union and go over how to drive the boat and where to go on the map before you depart.

Q:  Do you have life jackets provided?

R:  Yes, we do for all ages. Kids 12 and under are required by law to wear a life jacket. We do have life jackets for infants as well. If the infant is in a car seat of baby carrier they aren't required to wear one but we give you one anyway to have on board. All adult life jackets are underneath your seats.

Q:  Is there music on the boat?

R: We have an ipod input, cd player and radio on board. You are welcome to bring your ipod, iphone and cd's. We provide the auxiliary cord.

Q:  What can I bring with me?

R:  You are welcome to bring any food or beverage, we provide coolers with ice for $5.

Q:  Will I get cold on the boat?

R:  Our boat rentals have full window enclosures that can go up or down depending on what you feel comfortable with. If you keep the windows down the boats are warm. We provide heaters and blankets upon request.

R:  Absolutely! Our electric boats are a kid friendly environment. Children love our boats!
